🚨 There will be a MANDATORY CHECK-IN PERIOD from 8-8:40. If you check in after 8:40, you may not be paired until after round 1 begins which means a shorter time control
🍴 Bring lunch! There is no food and no vending machines onsite.
📧 Coaches can email semmons2848@gmail.com to register players without needing to use the Google registration form. (Anyone can email Sarah with any questions.)
🏆️ Trophies/medals will be awarded to top players in each section.
🏫 School teammate pairings will be avoided if possible.
📝 MSCA standard policies apply. (Touch move, touch take, etc.)
♟️ Please bring your own board, pieces, and clock. Notation is required! Score sheets will be provided.

Results for scholastic tournaments can be found on our events page. From 2023, we have news articles, team standings, and other goodies. US Chess has crosstables on their site for all MSCA events going back to 1990. The School Chess Association (SCA) also holds many scholastic events.
