Rochester Open is Chess Planning Masterpiece!

Congratulations to the Rochester chess community on hosting the spectacular 2022 Rochester Open on July 9-10 at the Mayo Civic Center. All of the important details of a chess tournament were expertly administered by the Rochester Team.


In the chess, Andrew Titus & Michael Takahashi tied for 1st place by scoring 4 of a possible 5 points in the challenging open section. Titus actually defeated Takahashi in round 2 of the tournament. However, Takahashi stormed back with 3 consecutive wins to pull even with Titus who drew 2 of his final 3 games.
