2023 Minnesota High School Chess League

Chess Knight

The 2022-2023 Minnesota High School Chess League season has wrapped up, with Jefferson taking team 1st place, and Eastview teams coming in 2nd and 3rd. Other sections had Wayzata winning team U1200, while Andover made a strong showing winning both team U1000 and Unrated.

Congratulations to these and all the teams that competed in this 7th season of the league, played online at https://lichess.org. (Lichess is a 100% free website with lessons, exercises, and tens of thousands of games going on at any time of day or night.)

For individual awards, Eastview players claimed top honors on boards one and two, and had eight players placing across all boards/alternates.

For more results and information about the MHSCL and future seasons, check out the website: https://mhscl.net/. Coaches! Please contact League Director Jackson Wahl at jackson.wahl.1999@gmail.com to join next year.

A big thank you to Sarah Emmons and Jackson for all their great work!
